I have a very calm, friendly, 7 year-old long hair Jack Russell called Georgia. She rarely barks and is not a dog who likes to escape. She just loves to go out sniffing.

I am looking for someone (or a couple) who will relate to Georgia, feed her (once a day), take her for walks (once or twice a day) and usually not leave her by herself at home for more than 5-6 hours at a time. She travels well in a car.

My house is on the edge of town in a quiet part of Blackheath. The house has wifi, gas cooking, gas and wood heating, a self-irrigating veggie garden (from which you are welcome to eat), a comfortable double bed, shower /bath and a dog door to the enclosed back yard. There is no television but programs can be watched on my desktop computer.

Public transport is available but not frequent. In this area there are many beautiful bush walks, great coffees, a 1950s-style movie theatre which shows great movies, several meditation centres, art galleries, libraries, public swimming pools, natural swimming holes, cafés, restaurants and rock climbing locations.

I also have a pottery studio which you would be welcome to use if you know how to use the equipment.

Start and end dates for this assignment are flexible.
