For longer, more expansive walks, a short drive south brings you to the Waterworks Reserve, a popular spot with various trails suitable for dogs on lead, offering natural bushland experiences. A quick outing by car can also take you to the Sandy Bay foreshore for a different aspect, though specific beach access for pets might have restrictions depending on the season.
