Beautiful rural environment 21 km from the Melbourne CBD

It is like living in the country, within sight of the city. Fresh air, birds and wildlife. Peace and serenity, but only 6 minutes to Eltham by car.

The Yarra River can be heard nearby. You can explore the State Park which adjoins our property or walk or cycle nearby.

We have Border Collie dogs and they love a bit of TLC, but are very low maintenance.

Food, walks, play and a smooch is all they need. They are like kids – love to be involved with you.

The dogs sleep inside or outside at night and love to spend time inside with you during the day.

There are a few plants that are not yet on the automatic irrigation system and so they need watering as well.

Apart from that, it is a perfect place if you like nature, serenity, walks and a rural environment.

There are a few essentials:

You MUST be a non-smoker

You MUST love dogs and puppies too

You MUST have a car

You MUST be fit and able to walk on uneven ground.

We have our own walking tracks and driveways and they are not a perfect walking surface. They are not difficult, but if you are not used to walking in the bush, This may not be the house-sit for you.

We will provide you with detailed written information about the requirements and the dogs and will ask you to sign a simple agreement relating to the house-sit.
