Requirements

We're looking for a reliable and mature single or couple to house and pet sit for 6 weeks from end of April to early June 2024.

Our home is a lovely 3 bedroom home in the lovely 'fairy tale' town of Maclean overlooking the mighty Clarence River. We are within walking distance to local coffee shops, restaurants and the village centre. Maclean is 15 minutes drive to the stunning beaches of Yamba/Angourie, 30 mins to Brooms Head and just over an hour to Byron Bay.

Our home is tastefully decorated in mid century modern decor with a hint of quirk. One bedroom has a comfy antique Queen bed and another has a double. All rooms have a reverse cycle air conditioner and there is a fire place in the living area. If you enjoy vinyl, there is a 'wall' of music from which to choose. The kitchen is well stocked with a dishwasher. There is a large airy bathroom with a separate toilet.

Most importantly we are seeking someone who loves animals and is confident with large dogs as we have a friendly German Shepherd with a storm phobia and a rather judgmental dingo cross. Both live inside the home in the evenings and nights as they are part of our family. We also have a small (11) flock of chickens who will provide you eggs for breakfast every day in exchange for daily feeding/watering..The feathered girls free range the yard through the day and will need rounding up in the evenings back to their coop.

There are fruit trees, veggie/herb patches and gardens/indoor plants that would love a water every now and then. Depending on your preference, easy maintenance lawns would benefit from a mow if you are willing (standard size residential lot).

Should this be of interest to you, please reach out. We are asking for two references to be provided.
