Looking for a non-smoking experienced person or couple with own transport to look after our home and pets while we go on holidays (November 10 to November 24, 2024)

Our home is located on 5 acres at Mount Samson, north-west of Brisbane and situated mid-way between Samford and Dayboro. We are 15 minutes to the shops, restaurants etc of both Warner and Samford. There is plenty to see and do with North Pine dam, Mount Glorious, Mt Nebo and Mt Mee are a short distance away and we are a little over an hour the Sunshine Coast.

The house is modern, single level and well maintained with 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and open planned living to the outdoors. It is fully air-coned with veranda's off each bedroom.

Surrounded by nature, you’ll get to enjoy seeing the endless views to the north and west and the sunsets over the mountains.

We would like you to look after our 6 year old American Spoodle, Rupert, along with 2 birds, 10 chickens and a few fish. Rupert is low maintenance, likes to play ball in the afternoons and is quite partial to walks , drives in the car and having his tummy rubbed. He loves people, likes company and is quite happy to just to sit with you, but also content to be left if you go out for the day. The birds require there feed updated twice a week, The chickens need to be let out in the mornings , locked away at night and food updated daily. They should also provide you with plenty of eggs. The fish need feeding each day.

Garden care will be low maintenance, just some watering of a few pot plants, couple of trees and vegie patch. Mowing of the block will not be required.

House care will be low maintenance, however basic cleaning will be required as we don’t have a cleaner. As a general rule we clean the kitchen daily and run the vacuum around the main living space, and then do a normal full house clean weekly.
