Our house in Invermay, Tasmania is north facing on a big block.

Invermay is just across the river from the centre of Launceston. The North Esk River, Heritage Forest Park and the free city bus are all within walking distance.

We have two rough collies (Lassie dogs), Cienna and Minnie that we walk each day. Minnie is Cienna's daughter. Minnie is 5 years old. Cienna is 8 years old. Both have done basic obedience, and are friendly.

We also have a tropical freshwater fish tank. We will clean the tank before we go so all you will need to do is feed them and relax watching them swim. Perhaps clean it once.

We are not fussed how much gardening you do, but we do love our pets so we want them to be well cared for. They are all pretty easy going so it shouldn't be too much trouble.

We will be away from 27 June until 21 July.

Our house is comfortable, insulated and heated, but kitchen and bathroom not renovated, There is also a newly renovated self-contained guest suite, where we have insulated and clad the outside of the existing sheds so it still shows the old timber inside. It is fully heated with a day bed, bedroom, living space with kitchenette and wheelchair accessible bathroom. You can stay in either or both.

You can bring a well behaved dog with you, as long as it is well behaved and does not play rough. Our dogs get on well with most other dogs but Minnie gets frightened if they are too jumpy or boisterous.
