We are 10 days out from going O/S and our Sitter has just cancelled, if we don't find someone in the next couple of days we are going to lose about $10K.

We haven't had a holiday in about 20 yrs and would love to go knowing our Mob is being loved and looked after.

The family extends to 4 & 1/3 horses (Donny isn't big enough to be a real horse). All are stabled at night. Out through the day. (I do have a lad who can clean the stables if that helps you out.) Most of the horses are old and retired and the young ones don't do much either! It is a case of throwing them some hay and a bucket of food at nighttime and checking that they are all OK. There could be a bit of rugs on and off towards the end of the sit but that will depend on the temp.

4 Dogs who lay around most of the day and all sleep inside at night.

A mob of chooks, 1 old ducks and a very fat pig - Dexter and 2 possums that come on the verandah to have a feed at night.

It takes me about 40 mins in the morning and about the same at night. I generally clean one stable out each day so it isn't a huge job. Ideally you would be someone who is home (here) a fair bit, someone working part time or studying would be ideal. You are not stuck out here all day every day - you can head into town for a few hours, if you would like.

We have a huge garden that is pretty self sufficient and I am planting out a bit of rainforest, if you want to get into that I won't stop you! If you don't - that is OK too.

We are about 15mins out of Gympie. About 50 mins away from Noosa. about an hour away from Tin Can Bay (what Noosa was like 40 yrs ago). Plenty of places to explore, walking tracks and things to do! And the Mary River is about 400 mtrs away with one of the very best spots on the river. Our home is a 134yrs old house.
