Hello! We are Cliff and Jenny, and we are in need of an amazing house sitter/s for approx 2.5 weeks in Feb 2026, to look after our home, super friendly 1 year old poochon Lilu, 4 green cheek conure's (small parrots), and keep our plants and garden happy!

We have a beautiful brand new 4 bedroom, modern-coastal style house just a a few steps from the ocean in Moana/Maslins Beach SA, with 2 living areas, big open plan kitchen, large bath-room with full-size bath and shower, extra toilet, good size backyard with alfresco and 2nd guest room with desk that could be used as an office.

The house has lots of natural lights and styled with beautiful light timber furniture, natural furnishing and beautiful house plants. An Oasis by the Sea, designed as a retreat for guests and us :)

We have washing machine with dryer, dishwasher, oven/gas stove, Netflix, Disney and Amazon, Wifi and heating/cooling and the house in well insulated and warms up in the day during winter.

We also can organize spring water delivery for drinking if you’d like, that’s what we drink :)

We are also located only about 10 mins from the famous Mclaren Vale wine region and Aldinga/Wilunga, a pleasant drive to the Coorong, Victor Harbour and Kangaroo Island ferry. There so many amazing walks and bike tracks on the doorstep, you can also access an epic walk along the coast from the end of our street. The pics will give you a much better idea :)

Adelaide CBD is 35mins drive or train ride with station about 10 mins away.

The Adelaide Hills and Barossa are also a lovely attraction and 35-1.5hr away

You’ll stay in our guest-room with a new japanese style queen-size latex, futon matress, which is very comfortable, not too firm or soft. There is hanging and cupboard space.

We are right between two beautiful beaches (Moana and Maslins), and our estate has it’s own sort of private beach only 5 minutes walk down the hill a bit.

There is a Foodland 5 mins walk on the main road and Seaford central with Woolies, priceline and all the standard shopping centre amenities 5mins drive down the road.

You’ve also got lots of gorgeous cafes within walking distance and some amazing restaurants all just a short drive :)

What we need in a sitter/s:

We are open to 1 person or 2, so either a couple, or close friends or family members would be acceptable. It’s probably best suited to adults, due to the house logistics, but we would consider a child with parent.

People who value a lovely home and good energy, have care and pride in their daily living and love to get outdoors and explore and of course love animals and plants. (experience with birds is a big bonus)

Lilu (small dog) needs to be fed 2-3 times a day, she's on a raw meat & freeze dried food diet that we have guides for. She also gets some herbs and supplements added to the food. She's an amazing little girl, incredibly loving, adores snuggles, is very well trained and does tons of tricks and commands (she's been through 4 training courses so far).

The birds are funny and quirky, but they can be a bit moody sometimes due to hormones, they are based outside in an aviary, but we do bring them inside at night to sleep in bad weather.

They are trained to get into a little carrier (birdy backpack).

They need to be fed 1-2 times per day (just depending on your schedule, I usually give them some extra fresh food or walnuts in the late afternoon).

We usually fly them in the morning in the garage to get some exercise and give them some apple to munch before moving them out to the aviary. But this is not mandatory at all.

Plants - Most of the outside plants have irrigation, but some do not and will need to be manually watered every now and then, depending on the weather, just need to keep an eye on them.

The back lawn has full irrigation, and most likely won't need to be mowed for a shorted stay like this.

There are a lot of inside plants, some are quite valuable, and they will only need 1-2 waters during that time, houseplant enthusiasts are highly valued but we will leave instructions :)

We will have a detailed guide to care and instruction for everything and would prefer the sitter/s to spend a day/night with us prior to make sure everything is clear and everyone is settled!
