URGENT!!!!!

OUR HOUSESITTER HAS DROPPED OUT ON US TWO WEEKS BEFORE WE'RE DUE TO GO TO SCOTLAND. PLEASE HELP.

We are an adult household of my mother and father myself, Our home is architecturally design window filled - light filled lifestyle of luxury looking out over 20acres of green pasture and rock gulley

We are going to Scotland celebrate my brother and his wife, who have just recently married after moving back from New Zealand after living there for three years. My youngest sister and her partner who have just welcomed a baby into this world, also live on the property. We were keen horse riders when we were younger competing up to international level. We now just enjoy our horses as they are paddock ornaments and loved very much.

We absolutely adore our dogs again, competing international level but mostly just love them for having them around and for the personalities that they are, hence why we have so many of them and we count ourselves lucky to have so much room that we can have so many of them and we couldn’t imagine life without them

so leaving them for such a long time is very nerve wracking and very scary!!

so it’s incredibly important to us that we know they’re staying with someone/a couple who will keep them safe. safe. Ideally someone who will be home most of the time.

After my brother and his wife were married in August last year. unfortunately many of her Scottish family members, for unable to make the ceremony and reception, so my family are heading over to Scotland for a Scottish traditional, you might call it a barn dance of sorts

It is incredibly important to us that you have knowledge of dogs and horses and their veterinary needs, or at least the signs of illness, and when they need to be taken to the vet or seen by a vet

All of of the dogs are desexed, except my youngest girl, CC although she won’t be coming into season during the time where away, so you won’t need to worry about that side of things.

Responsibilities include:

Feeding Dogs in Kennels of a night time

Groom dogs daily (basic brush - we have an array of easy to use dog brushes)

Play with dogs 30-60mins - ball time plus cuddles we just want them to have some human interaction. They have us around all the time so it will be very different for them to have none of us here.

Taking dogs to groomer who is based 20-25mins away and we have been using for 10+ years...Anita is gorgeous

Dogs are given access to inside of home and outside through the day unless raining.

Dogs sleep inside at night and are all fully house trained

Horses fed 2x a day. Will be kept up in the well secured paddocks close to the house.

- rugging will be no more than simple cotton rugs with waterproof rugs when/if raining

Cows and goats are all desexed and will have a large round of bale of hay to keep them happy.

- basic garden with minimal watering

- we have a ride on mower but no mowing needed

Fish just need feeding once a day and clean glass occasionally :) the system under the tank keeps it self running and healthy. So no need to worry about any upkeep
