Bowraville is a beautiful small historical town twenty minutes from the stunning beachside holiday destination of Nambucca Heads. Bowraville is a short two minute drive from this home that is available, a 25 acre equine property, with power, rainwater and privacy ready for a responsible Housesitter.

We would like to travel over Christmas if we can find a suitable sitter who is quiet, respectful, caring towards all animals and not here to party. We have an elderly, arthritic dog, horses and our children’s pets, who will need companionship and care especially to keep comfortable in case of heat wave or storms. The house is air conditioned, comfortable with satellite internet and entertainment system, single level with verandahs and gorgeous views. We only ask that you bring your own kitchen crockery and use our kitchen carefully (and cleanly) due to our family food allergies.

Other than that, we would encourage you to enjoy sightseeing the gorgeous surrounds of the Nambucca Valley including the beaches, pubs and restaurants, and the many sightseeing trails including local rainforests, waterfalls and boutiques.

Why not head to the Bowraville racecourse (a short 2 klm drive) for the popular Boxing Day races?

Or, for horse owners, bring your horse float and take advantage of trail riding throughout the property and use the flat bed grass arena and round yards for training. (No liability acceoted). We can set up electric tape for your horses before you arrive if you have low maintenance and healthy horses. There are also excellent beaches and trail works for taking your horses to the beach. We have 2 very low maintenance horses for you to cuddle and keep an eye on.

Your dog is welcome so long as it is absolutely safe with chickens and friendly with horses and our elderly dog.

Children are welcome so long as they do not use our children’s bedrooms, sorry the kids bedrooms will not be available. Only a master bedroom with lovely king bed and sunrise views is on offer this time. So you may prefer to bring your caravan or even tents if you are a family. Plenty of grassy flat areas to set up, an ideal camping holiday with room for bike riding and playing.
