The mission if you choose to accept is-

to make yourself comfortable in my valley shed/home on private, part rainforest, 3 acres, off grid solar, rain & bore water, 4WD mostly, good wifi, big screen, immersed in nature, surrounded by birds & more birds, kangaroos, bandicoots and couple of cheeky goannas. We’ve had a bit of predation by a cheeky hawk🤨

3 tame Call Ducks, (Mom & 2 offspring) swim in a trough & 2 bathtubs on the other side of the glass where I live, enjoying the music, next to 3 large cages where the Love Bird gang are constantly chirping & singing. I have a trickle tap to all their area/cages. The resident Sunbird family have a nest each end and fly through the place confidently, currently collecting feathers & sticks for the north nest. Papa Sunbird encourages, but it is mama who makes the nest which is a marvel. She’s almost finished, so soon she’ll lay her eggs once again.

‘Elvis’ the darling rooster crows at 5am and his 2 hens, who mostly lay an egg each day, are always near him. One or 2 Ulysses Iridescent Butterfly float by throughout the day along with a growing number of others since I’ve been planting & sprinkling..

There’s a small generator to top up the batteries for extended rain periods, mostly not needed as I’ve got a gas stove & an extra outdoor gas camping shower. I just go easy on the toaster, microwave & electric jug when I see a few days of heavy rain forcast.

I hope to find a nature lover who would love to protect this little paradise for the days that I’ll be away.

There’s comfort here🤗. There is abundant water with a pressure pump for a glorious outside shower & bath, a washing machine & dryer, microwave, gas stove & shower, plumbed sinks, fridge, comfy lounge & queen size bed. A single or couple can kick back here.

I’m an easy 15 mins north of Mackay. At the very end of 2 ‘No Through’ roads.

The only dirt road is the high clay content lower half of my 180m steep (18 degree in one place) driveway, unusable after heavy rain. There’s an alternate track out. The fruit tree watering is controlled by a dripline setup at one bore tap but pots & veggies need hand watering which only takes a few minutes.

Otherwise, relax! Enjoy! Find peace in solitude or focus on what you must without distraction.

Good phone signal, all carriers, at the top of my driveway, where the view of ‘Bayview’ is seen, but Telstra is needed in the valley. Did I mention I have excellent wifi .. so watch movies, research, FaceTime friends no worries!🤗
