We are seeking a house sitter from 16 to 28 December 2024 to look after our house and a very friendly 3 year old Blue Heeler/Boarder Collie.

The house is in Craignish, on a couple of acres but no animals other than those mentioned to look after. Close to beach and shops, 10 min to Hervey Bay. We also have a pool that you are welcome to use.

As we both work from home, our dog is used to having people around. Whilst we don't expect you to stay home with him all day, every day, we also don't want someone who will use our house as a base and leave him for hours on end. He is very happy so long as he has someone home to follow around (and sleep next to) during the day. Despite his active breed, he is a very placid and lovable guy who just needs company and cuddles. At night, he sleeps in his room and you will not hear a peep from him.

Garden is low maintenance. Just a bit of watering. Maybe lawn mowing if we get a lot of rain leading up to the stay - we have a ride-on though.
