We are on 7 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of south gippsland. We are travelling for a month and mainly want someone home for security reasons and our fluffball and helpful little worm family. There is as little or much gardening work as you enjoy doing (I do not expect someone to maintain my vege garden unless they love doing it). We have a blue heeler Gus who will be missing us desperately, however my sister lives a few towns over so would be happy to pick him up on the odd occasion (if you're heading to Melbourne for the night or wanting a day here or there to explore the prom etc) or would probably have him relatively regularly if you were willing to drop him to her before day adventures (she is about 25 mins away). The worm farm will need a bit of care as well, but this is minimal and can be maybe feeding scraps once or twice a fortnight and either collecting the worm juice or making sure its draining if collecting is not your bag. We are 8 minutes from fish creek and 15 minutes from foster (which has the two supermarkets). Not too far from beaches and the gorgeous Wilson's promontory.

We will have the grass and everything mainly sorted, the only real necessary 'rural' activity will be pumping your water up to the header tank and bringing firewood to the house (our only indoor cooking is on a lovely old combustion stove called doris and only heating is a wood fire) but there is a fully functional gas stove etc in our camp kitchen as well. There is a very cute little caravan on the property as well If you prefer to be in a space you can really make your own for the month, or have guests (within reason of course).
