House Sit in Murrumbateman: Relaxed Rural Living

We are looking for a responsible house sitter to care for our home and beloved pets. Set on a 2-acre block close to Murrumbateman shops, our home offers a peaceful retreat just 20 minutes from both Yass and Canberra.

The Role & Animal Care

Your primary focus will be keeping our pets happy and safe. No yard work is required!

Allie (14yo English Staffy): She is a sweet, indoor dog who loves cuddles and people. While she is fine on her own for a few hours, she thrives on routine and needs someone in the house overnight.

Feeding:

Very easy—fresh food (Lyka) is delivered to the gate every 3 weeks.

The Chickens: Approximately seven hens who are mostly self-managed.

Daily Tasks:

Simply check each night that they’ve cleared the automatic door and collect the fresh eggs.

Private bedroom with a Queen-size bed; all bedding and towels provided.

Full use of the kitchen (gas cooking), dining room, and lounge.

Large outdoor area with comfortable lounge seating and a Webber BBQ.

High-speed Wi-Fi and drinkable, filtered tank water.

The "Extras": A great coffee machine setup and a small home gym (treadmill, bike, elliptical, and rower). If you have kids visiting, there is also a playground and trampoline.
