Effectively, we have a 3-bedroom 2-bathroom house available for 16 weeks for free, apart from contributing to electricity and gas. The heating is underfloor ducted gas heating. There is space for two vehicles in the garage.

Although it is a 4-bedroom house, we will have moved things from other rooms and placed them in our main bedroom, which will be closed.

The main duties are to keep the place looking reasonably clean and tidy on the outside, including clean up tree rubbish from our street tree, regularly mow the lawns, and to check that the watering systems are working correctly and, if not, undertake some minor repairs.

We currently feed magpies and other birds. The house sitter is under no obligation to do so but may if so desired.

We would prefer a couple.
