Hello!

We’re located in the beautiful hills behind Caboolture, a charming, tourist-friendly area. We’re looking for a retired couple who would enjoy caring for our property and animals for about 4 weeks to a month next autumn. Our travel dates are flexible since we haven’t booked anything yet, so we’re happy to work with your schedule—the dates provided are just a rough range.

You’d have a comfortable guest room with your own bathroom, a cozy living room with a kitchen, and a large veranda to relax on and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The house is easy to access with just a few steps and is private, quiet, and remote. Since the closest shop is about 13 minutes away by car, you’d need your own transport. If you love nature and a bit of solitude, this is the perfect spot!

We are looking for someone meticulous, who will treat our home and property with care and respect. There are a few house rules to ensure everything stays in great condition—such as no shoes inside the house and keeping things tidy.

What’s involved?

Feed and water the chickens and collect their eggs in the morning.

Sprinkle some food for the goldfish once a day.

Give the cows their morning hay and check their water.

Feed and water for the cat twice a day, and locking him in at night.

As for the garden, we’re happy to discuss what’s needed depending on your interest and preferences.
