We have a 3-bedroom country house on 10 acres with resident whippets, 41 guinea fowl and 4 chooks. Part of the property is a vineyard which is separately managed, so sitters will not need to worry about that aspect. We will be away for 2 weeks and need sitters to look after and care for our beloved dogs, lock up the chooks each night and keep on eye on the free ranging guinea fowl, please. As we will be away in summer, our gardens will quite possibly need watering, as will pots on the verandahs and our indoor plants. We are located at Taggerty, North Central Victoria, and have direct river frontage onto Little River, which is a very good trout stream and fishing spot. We also sit alongside Cathedral State Park, ideal for bush walking and sight-seeing activities. We are 22 kilometres from the nearest regional town of Alexandra, which has good shopping and an excellent FoodWorks supermarket. We are also close to the tourist locations of Marysville and Lake Eildon.
