We have a home in Springfield Lakes, south west of Brisbane. We have two small white fluffies (maltese shitzu's) and a cat. The dogs, Cabo and Bailey are very people friendly, love just being around you, snuggling with you and Bailey loves to sleep on the bed if you allow.

Cabo and Bailey do have some needs due to their health.

Bailey is almost blind and needs daily eye drops. He can become a bit grumpy in the evening so don’t think children under 12 would be suitable. He absolutely loves people but will sleep most of the time. As he is now 16 he does have some accidents on the tiles in the house so we apologise in advance.

Cabo had his eyes removed in December so is completely blind. He has adjusted very well and this doesn't cause any issues. He has diabetes which requires insulin needles twice a day, 12 hours apart which are really easy to administer. He is great with this and he gets a treat after his needle. What this means is that someone needs to be home to give him his needle at these times. They're currently 7am & 7pm but this can be adjusted. He also has some liquid medication added to his dinner. Cabo & Bailey sound like a lot of work but they aren't. It's a really simple routine to follow.

Our cat Kahlua is a bit scared of strangers but comes around in her own time. She has no health issues, just likes to be fed and once she’s used to you will come looking for a pat.

Our house is single level at the front and two storey at the back. We have a small pool, spa, air con in the lounge room and main bedroom, Foxtel and wi-fi. We are a 10 minute walk to the train station. IGA and restaurants/pub are also a 10 minute walk away and there is a major shopping centre less than 5 minutes drive or one train stop with cinemas and more restaurants. There is also a lake to walk around and meet others.

We are looking for a couple who will be home most of the time to look after our fur babies due to their health needs. We would like for you to be able to take Cabo and Bailey for a short walk every day or couple of days. We would also love to receive updates about what Cabo, Bailey and Kahlua have been up to.

Our priority is the welfare of our pets, so we’re not worried if the floor isn't swept etc.
