We are looking for non-smoking house/cat/garden/pool sitters for a few months from the beginning of April till mid-June. Our cat, Jaycee, is 11 years old and whilst very affectionate, unfortunately has chronic kidney issues that require medication every second day. She is kept in at night and will often end up on the bed with us, as she likes the company. She does not generally wander far from our property and mainly spends the day sleeping in the pergola area or inside the house.

We have a low set brick house, with a pool and garden to care for. The garden is reasonably extensive in terms of needing watering, and there is a small amount of mowing. The pool would require occasional testing and cleaning. However, we do not have air conditioning, which is something many people expect these days.

Our neighbourhood is fairly quiet, although there is some traffic noise from nearby freeways. For those who like walking, there are extensive walking paths in our local park/bushland area. There is a major shopping centre nearby and a convenience store within the estate. We are also close to public transport (bus) which in Qld is currently 50c a fare.

We are looking for person/s who are honest and reliable and would take good care of our pet and property. A police check would be preferable.
