We have two Great Danes and two cats, one Rag Doll and one domestic shorthair. Everyone is used to their two meals a day, and the Danes get walked every morning. I walk them down the hill to the beach (about 1.5km away) where they say hello to whomever is round the surf club. Calypso (the young dog) is full of energy and connection and doesn't yet come when called. She is always on a lead. With all her energy and connection she's remarkably soft with her paws and mouth. Atlas is our beautiful old man. He's very well trained, chilled and likes some company. At a minimum the dogs will need someone home in the evenings, overnight and for breakfast. The cats are much easier. Just breakfast and dinner for both and a bit of affection for Lulu our old Rag Doll if she wants it.
