House sit Birkdale

We will be away for a month and need someone to look after and care for our 7 year old American Staffordshire Terrier, Bessie.

Bessie is affectionate and loves everyone. She is not a barker and loves her daily walk or run and loves company. Bessie is currently wearing a cone on her head which she lets you put on easily, she has some skin off her legs and we are waiting for it to heal. She will happily let anyone lift her leg or foot or look in her ears, she has a lovely nature. She is well trained, but you would need to establish who is boss.

Bessie’s food, waste bags, shampoo and conditioner are kept in a box near the BBQ. We would appreciate it if you could wash Bessie about every 10 days.

She is an outside dog but stays in the garage during a storm as storms make her bark and race around, otherwise she is an outside dog.

The garden would love to be watered if it has not rained for a day or 2. The garden has been planted for the native bees. I would appreciate it also if you could water my one indoor plant.

Our house is a low set brick in a quiet area. We have ceiling fans throughout. From our house it is a short walk to the train station, bus stop, shopping center and 10 minutes to the Bay or you can go 4kms away and shop till you drop in Capalaba.

We live in the Redlands Coast, known for its great fishing, boating and water sports and cafes. There are seaside parks and esplanades where you can picnic or have a bbq.

If you have a car you can park it on the driveway or keep a caravan in the yard.

We have a Ninja Foodi dual zone air fryer and a bread maker which you are welcome to use.
