Assignment Requirements

We are going away on holiday between the above dates, and we need care for our home and two beautiful dogs: Toby, a chocolate Labrador and Leila, a Maltese Poodle, both 11 years old.

They both thrive off love, affection and a daily walk. We live in a beautiful nature area where these walks are as much of a pleasure for me as they are for the dogs. They both walk really well on lead and are clam and inquisitive during walks.

We live in a spacious 4-bedroom house - your stay will be very comfortable. The house will need some attention while away - bins to be taken out, lawn to be mowed (about twice during that time of year) and irrigation to be turned on now and again if it's not yet raining by then. We have high-speed internet, a smart TV and A/C.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Nadine

About the Area

Craigburn Farm Adelaide, South Australia
Suburb Insights
Life in Craigburn Farm follows the quiet, unhurried tempo of the Adelaide foothills. Mornings usually begin with the sound of birdsong in the surrounding scrub, offering a natural rhythm that aligns well with a pet-sitting routine. Long, winding walks along the local nature trails provide ample opportunities for exercising dogs or simply clearing your head before settling into the stillness of a private residence. The area feels secluded, yet the proximity to the nearby parks means nature is always just a few steps from the back door. While the immediate surroundings lean toward tranquility, practicalities are easily managed. A short drive connects you to the shopping precincts and café strips of nearby suburbs, where you can grab a coffee or fresh produce for home-cooked meals. Commuting remains straightforward via the main arterial roads that link the hills to the city. This balance of bushy seclusion and easy accessibility makes it a grounding location for those looking to step into a slower pace of life while fulfilling their house-sitting duties.
