Enjoy a stay in my house in Orange, it is fairly central being a five minute drive from the CBD but close to the road that will take you straight out to the mountain, lake, and wineries. The house is quite historic but nevertheless has ducted gas heating that is very effective over the cooler months (in Orange that can mean March until November:)
Orange has good access to some pretty nature and camping spots. It is known for its food and wine. A very pretty place especially in Spring and Autumn, some Sydneysiders travel here just to get photos of autumn colour.
Care will be required for one pet (rabbit) who is a sweetheart, she is mainly indoors in a cage but during fine weather (not too hot or cold) she can be put in the outdoor cage for short periods (providing the lawn mower guy isn't coming). For a rabbit, she is fairly affectionate, but is a little shy until she knows you.
Some low level care will be needed for indoor plants (most won't need it as they will have been watered prior to me leaving, it's only the indoor veggies that will require light watering 1-2 times daily).
The outdoor garden will not require care aside from watering the tomato bushes and any other veggies quickly each day... that's if they still exist by the time of the assignment ;) My track record with those is not great.
I plan to maintain my usual house cleaning and lawn services while away so the house sitter does not need to do that or pay for that.
Also there was an unusually high level of usage, I would not require the house sitter to pay anything for electricity, gas, water, wifi etc.
This home owner is still seeking a house sitter.
