We are looking for a kind and caring pet lover to look after our beloved Great Dane, Alfie. We are somewhat flexible with dates - a few days either side of our estimated departure and return dates would probably work for us.

We live on a two acre property with a swimming pool and a tennis court in Mount Eliza on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. There is a bungalow in the back yard which is usually occupied by a family friend.

Alfie has limited vision as he has glaucoma in his right eye and cataracts in his left eye, both issues for which he requires eye drops regularly. However he knows his way around the house and back garden and can navigate these areas very well. He loves lots of attention, talking and enjoys a play with his squeaky ball and tuggy. We normally take him for a short walk (really just a dawdle so he can sniff everything) most days, however this is not essential.

We also have a nine year old cat, but she will most likely be cared for by our friend in the bungalow. However, if she is away at the time, we would need the house sitter to look after the cat (Pocahontas) as well as Alfie.

We would like to see a police check, references & ID.
