Looking for a dog & house sitter for approximately two weeks late July/Aug. We are located on 2 hectares on the NSW far south coast near Congo/Bingie.

Truffle is a 5 yo Golden Retriever. She is an indoor dog an easy care girl at home but does need company. So I am after house sitters who are truly happy to/want to be home most of the day (eg do not leave her from more than 4 hours/half day) and always home at night. She goes to doggy day care 2 X a week (8 hrs) so those are great days to go off adventuring. Truffle is an excellent traveller and there are dog friendly cafes/destinations/beaches nearby for extra outings and exercise.

Ideally our house sitters are experienced with farm sitting/rural life because we have cattle next door, wildlife, bugs, a dam, water pumps, etc- all the joys of country life!. I also have 9 chickens (easy care), a large vegetable garden, a glasshouse & covered plant houses X 2 (all easy care in winter, mostly just needs checking).

We have just finished building a strawbale house that we are in the process of moving into. For this house sit the accommodation on offer is right next to the new house and is in our current little house (60m2 + verandah, photos soon). It can accommodate 1 person or a couple, is homely and completely fitted out, snug but light and you do not need to worry about muddy pawprints (concrete floor with old carpet) and can make it your own space. Everyone thinks it is a bit cute inside.
