RE-OPENED: My husband and I will be away from September 9th until October 8th and require someone to care for our beautiful senior cat Erik. He may be shy/anxious at first but is very well behaved. Erik requires food twice daily and medication for blood pressure and hyperthyroidism - tablet crushed into his food (AM) and ointment on the tip of the inner ear (AM & PM). He is a little hard of hearing and has weakness in his back legs/pelvis however, this doesn't stop him from going up and down the stairs and jumping onto the bed/couch.

We live in a rental property (1 of 6 townhouses) with lovely neighbours. It is double story, with a small courtyard. We would prefer someone who is a non-smoker and Erik requires someone who is patient and gentle. I suffer from coeliac disease, so we will also have some specific requests about the use of cooking utensils for non-gluten free food just to avoid cross contamination.
