This house sit is strictly for the Dog Lover ONLY! Someone quiet as our poodles does not like loud noises or too much commotion.

We have a beautiful Kangaroo Point unit, views of the Story Bridge and have an adorable poodle ideal for mature person.

Our very relaxing and quiet place is a 1 bedroom plus guest nook/study unit. They will have your own brand new bed in our guest nook, purposefully created with a pet sitter in mind. It’s only a double bed (very comfy) so if you are a couple and don’t mind that, please apply. It is in a great location with resort style facilities. The neighbours are all wonderful and it is just a short ferry ride over into the city. This is a very quiet, well respected complex with the majority of residents being of mature age so minimum noise is important. You will have access to one underground carpark, high speed unlimited wifi perfect for if you work or study from home, Netflix and more. We are meticulously clean and keep our home immaculate. We are obsessed with, and adore our fur daughter Milly, who we have had since she was 5. We have plenty of people around us who would take Milly, but she can get a little jealous of other dogs and I would prefer she stay in her own familiar place.

We don’t require you to do any maintenance or upkeep. In fact, we don’t need a “house sitter”, only a loving, respectful pet sitter. All we need is Milly loved, fed, walked and the mail collected and we ask that you keep the unit tidy as we are very clean, non smoking and fussy. Very low maintenance house sit as the main purpose is to prioritise and care for Milly. She is now 8 years old, small toy poodle who just wants to be with you. She is very easy, calm and lazy. She is not a fan of walking but we do have some great walking and bike paths surrounding us for you to enjoy.

We are an honest, trusting married couple in our 50’s and Milly is our fur baby. We need someone who does not party and just wants to chill with Milly, and is not away from home for long periods during the day. Milly will need to sleep in bed with you, and this is NON NEGOTIABLE.

The unit complex is very safe and secure and everyone will be aware of your presence so you don’t feel isolated.

You will need to be ok with taking her out to the public area to the toilet in the morning and afternoon. She is toilet trained to go on piddle mats as well.

All we ask is for her to be loved and cared for and for regular updates so we know she is happy and well and so we can relax too. She is our world so it’s imperative she will be your world too whilst you look after her.

We also need someone for 2 weeks in October (12th - 28th) and also again over the Christmas and NY period (from 22nd Dec - TBC) so if this criteria suits you, this can be your home away from home holiday pad with a very special loving companion. We request to meet you in person before any commitments are made 😀.

Please don’t apply if you are simply looking for a place to stay or short term free rent. This is about the best care for Milly and your desire to meet a new fur companion whom will equally love you. She is a dear, sweet girl and only the best will do.

We are new to this so please be patient with us getting back to you and for answering any questions we may have. This is a huge deal for us to entrust in someone to care for our precious girl in our home.
