SEEKING HOUSE SITTERS FOR 2 SEPERATE TIMES THIS YEAR (2024)

1. 16th - 20th August (5 days) My brother passed away a few weeks back and we need to go up to Queensland for family reasons.

2. 19th September - 6th October. We are going to WA for our niece's wedding. (we did have someone for this time but unfortunately they have had to pull out due to ill health).

We live just out of the small township of Guyra NSW Northern Tablelands. Guyra is 35 km north of Armidale and 60 km south of Glen Innes. A beautiful fresh cool climate with no humidity.

Prefer non-smoker with clean living habits and no pets accompanying them.

We have 2 horses and 1 cat the sitter will need to look after.

Prefer someone reasonably experienced and confident around horses as my main horse Kalico will need to be rugged/unrugged daily and hooves picked out (he is very quiet).

We are on a very secluded and tranquil 9 acres 7 km out of Guyra with no near neighbours.

Our house is a neat 2 bdrm cottage, with a reliable off-grid system for power, gas hot water and a gas stove. We have a wood heater to keep the house nice and cosy with plenty of stacked wood to use.

Our cat Ccino (pronounced 'Cheeno') gets dry feed twice a day and is kept inside every night. He is very social and loves human company, is likely to follow you around.

Our 2 horses are fed twice a day, given hay in the morning and a chaff mix plus hay late afternoons.

The water troughs for the horses will need to be checked every couple of days.
