THE DOG:

We have a female, 1 year old, American Akita called Mochi. (You can check her out on Instagram under @mochi_the_american_akita)

She’s currently not desexed but we do plan on doing that before our trip.

She is not a dog park dog, or an off leash dog. She loves hanging out with people and will chill and sleep all day.

I take her for a 15 min walk in the morning to get a coffee at the closest cafe. She gets a second round of exercise again in the evening at 5pm for about 30 - 40 mins.

THE AREA:

We live in a beautiful little suburb called Balmain. Its full of cafes, restaurant, shops and pubs. It’s a peninsula that sits on Sydney Harbour, so you have wonderful views and the walks are stunning!

THE APARTMENT:

Our apartment is really nice - it’s a spacious 2 bed, 2 bath with a massive balcony that overlooks the harbour.

The building amenities are great: outdoor pool, gym, and a BBQ area.
