House sit Mount Ommaney

*Our cat is a 17 yo in-door cat, needs DAILY litter-trays change. She is a bit grumpy in her old age, and pretty much spend the day sleeping on the deck and keeping to herself. She does likes a bit of pet and chin scratch when I do her daily 1-minutes brushing( to minimise hairball vomits); she only just “tolerates” the dog, despite the dog’s constant effort to befriend her, lol.

*Our dog is an 8 yo mid-size/25kg poodle cross, very loving with family members and people in general;she spend her day indoor by our side. However, she has anxiety /dog-reactive, also does not do well with surprises (eg, fast bike/scooter riders, or stranger walking pass too close by). Therefore an experienced, confident but gentle sitter is required for her daily 30-45minutes walks. (strictly NO dog park visits, Please). The sitter also required to be home most of the day(eg, WFH), she is an indoor dog and has no access to outdoor/toileting, unless you let her out:)

*If you do need to go away overnight on the rare occasion, we do have family/neighbour who can take our dog for a few day. However, you can’t really be away for over 48 hours period, due to our old cat’s needs stated above.

*Sitter is also required to be familiar with paralysis tick checks/prevention for both dog and cat! I will have the poodle x fully groomed to a very short summer coat before leaving. so should only require a quick brush, maybe once/twice a week.

We have a good size backyard if you are keen to do a bit a watering, weeding etc. Otherwise, it’s totally ok just a bit of basic mowing over the summer period (perhaps every 2-3 weeks) to keep the lawn under control.

We live in a 2-stories house in a quiet street. (Sitters will stay in ground-floor guest bedroom with their own bathroom). It has a very green outlook/access to the neighbourhood park; easy 5 minutes walk to Mount Ommaney shopping centre and public transport.
