Assignment Requirements

Looking for someone to stay at our four bedroom house in the inner west to look after our two cats and our 11 month old staffy x cattle dog.

Cats are older and very low maintenance, dog is chill for his age and sleeps a lot. He requires a walk or trip to the dog park around the corner each day. We've only had him a few months so he's not used to very long stretches alone yet. We've got him to a point now where he's okay alone for occasional periods of up to 6-8 hours, but this job won't suit someone who will be out of the house a lot. There is some flexibility with dates, and we can arrange feeding/walking for specific days if you have pre-existing commitments.

House is under the flight path but double glazed. Dogs welcome if they are friendly with cats.

About the Area

SYDENHAM Sydney, New South Wales
Suburb Insights
Sydenham offers a quiet, suburban rhythm that suits a steady routine of pet care and home maintenance. Morning walks often begin around the local reserve, where paved paths provide easy loops for dogs needing a stretch after a long night inside. Most residents find their groove along the local café strips, grabbing a coffee before heading toward the nearby walking trails that cut through the greenery. These paths offer a calm escape from the daily grind, making it simple to clear your head between household tasks. Weekends tend to revolve around local community markets or exploring the surrounding bushy landscapes. Taking the train from the nearby station provides a direct link to the city, though the area's true appeal lies in its slower pace. You might spend a Saturday afternoon browsing stallholders or following a dirt track through the trees. This lifestyle allows you to settle into the home deeply, balancing the responsibilities of watching a house with the freedom of local outdoor exploration.
