Assignment Requirements

We are looking for a special person or couple to stay in our home and care for our sometimes, demanding cat.

Our family home is situated on a couple of acres but only minutes from the centre of Singleton. While there are lots of friendly near neighbours, the house is extremely quiet and private. You would access to a well set up guest room, main bathroom and secure garage parking for one vehicle and plenty of off-street parking for additional car or caravan as well as all the usual creature comforts of our home.

By road, Newcastle is one hour, Maitland 30 minutes or limited train services. Hunter Valley vineyards are only a 25 minute drive away.

Our big boy Taj, can be quite demanding early mornings, as we're early risers and he's used to having breakfast when we get up. He loves a morning cuddle while you enjoy your morning cuppa and watch the sunrise, wallabies and birdlife in the backyard from the comfort of the lounge. Once he's had his cuddle, he's usually happy to sleep the day away. He might be a bit shy at first, but he’s desperate need for lap time usually overcomes his shyness. He may choose to sleep on the bed if allowed by you.

We would want someone to stay in the home every night, but it’s not necessary to be here during the day.
