We have 1 cat who is 5 years old and loves having company. He spends his day inside and is allowed out at night, but he mostly sleeps on the front verandah and doesn't travel far from home. He has his own routine and is care free apart from want a bit of pampering and meals.

He loves his home environment which is why we prefer to have someone in the house with him, as the couple of times we have had him at a cattery he has been quite stressed which he has returned home.
