House sit Forest Lodge

Our home is a 3 bedroom terrace (one bedroom with ensuite is downstairs and separate from the rest of the house) plus an attic/study in a quiet (apart from the birds) street. The kitchen and bathroom were completely renovated last year and the main bedroom was renovated this year. The lounge, dining and kitchen is open plan with a cathedral ceiling and plenty of natural light. The main part of the house has ducted air conditioning, although it is on the top of a cliff so gets good breezes and the air conditioning generally isn’t required much. The main bedroom and downstairs bedrooms each have a queen sized bed. The middle bedroom has bunk beds. The downstairs room and attic have separate split system air conditioners. The attic has a large desk, a rowing machine and a small couch. There is a BBQ, an expandable table and chairs on the deck, with a retractable cover for shade or protection from rain. There are nice views over Annandale and beyond from the back deck, and it’s especially pleasant at sunset.

There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The closest supermarket (Supabarn in Annandale) is a 6 minute walk, and Glebe Point Road and the Tramsheds (shops and restaurants at both) are a 10-12 minute walk away. There is a bus stop (433) very close and others only a few more minutes walk away.
