We are looking for someone (or a couple) to look after our lovely boxer dog called Phoebe at our house on five acres in Metung, East Gippsland. Pheobe is seven years old and loves people. She also loves walks.... however, she occasionally pulls hard on her lead if she sees a rabbit, echidna etc. So, it would be good if you are physically able to hold a fairly strong dog on a lead. She is friendly but vigorously playful with other dogs that she meets on walks. Many locals know & love her. Our three-bedroom house, is just a few minutes' walk down our own private track to Lake King on the Gippsland lakes. We have a single and a double kayak that you are welcome to use. We have a friend living in a tiny house on the property about 50m away from the main house. You will have full privacy in our house but will be able to call on our friend if you need occasional help with anything. Also, if house sitters wish to come a few days prior to the house-sit dates, we do have a free standing 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom/ 1 kitchen cottage that you are welcome to use for a few days if you wish (free of any dog-minding responsibilities).
