Close to beach and bush. We’re looking for a caring and responsible house sitter to look after our relaxed home and our two much‑loved pets while we’re away: 7‑year‑old black cat, Luna, very low maintenance! She’s independent, happy to be left for hours, and just needs feeding twice a day and the occasional pat when she feels like company. Our 2‑year‑old Boxer/Staffy cross – high‑energy, totally adorable, and incredibly affectionate, loves people. She needs one good walk each day. She is strong and her off‑lead behaviour isn’t always perfect, so confidence handling an energetic dog on lead is important. A professional dog trainer collects her once a week on Wednesdays for training.

Our Home: Simple, comfortable 3‑bedroom house. Wooden floors and polished concrete floors. Very comfortable guest bedroom with hanging space and fresh linen provided. Air conditioning in one room. Underfloor heating in the kitchen and lounge area. Lovely back deck for relaxing. Above‑ground swimming pool (likely covered while we’re away as it’s will likely be too cool to swim). Gardener attends periodically for lawns and prune. A few house plants will need some care.

The Area: 10–15 minute walk to the beach. Close to great bush walking. Bus up the road. 5 min drive to supermarket, restaurants etc. Train to Sydney at Woy Woy (90 mins)
