Requirements

Burrum Heads is a coastal fishing village situated approximately 35 minute drive north of Hervey Bay, QLD. The village is surrounded by long sandy beaches, river walks and boat ramps are abundant. There is a Post Office, FoodWorks, bakery, butcher, pharmacy and hair-dresser in the village. There is a pub and bowling club within walking distance and both have curtesy buses.

The sitter(s) will have a double bedroom with direct access to the front veranda and in-ground pool. They will have a dedicated shower / bathroom and access to the usual household amenities. As there is only one bedroom available, this sit would not be suitable for families.

There is a large well-equipped kitchen, separate dining room and outdoor dining areas front and back. There is a comfortable lounge area with spilt system air-con.

Ebony is a five and a half year old Kelpie-X who enjoys a couple of walks a day along the river front or chasing a ball on the beach. Apart from that she is happy to laze around on the front veranda or in the back garden. Ebony is strong but walks on a lead and is responsive to voice commands. She enjoys swimming and loves diving for her toys in the pool.

The in-ground pool will require minimal maintenance and the rear garden is small with a small lawn that may require maintenance (lightweight battery lawn mower).

Parking is available for a car and caravan on the gated drive. A sitter with their own vehicle is essential as the limited public transport serving the village cannot be relied upon for such things as taking Ebony to the vet, if required.

Tony and Tracey are both retired professionals who would like someone to look after Ebony and their home whilst they are away. Dates of this sit are approximate and will be confirmed subject to availability of the sitter(s).
