Assignment Requirements

Hello, we have a renovated tidy 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home with a double carport. The garden is extremely low maintenance, only requiring lawn mowing (every 2-3 weeks in winter). We would consider getting a mowing company in to do it.

There are two dogs and two cats to look after.

The dogs are 6 & 12 years old, and are need around an hour walk each day and the backyard checked for droppings. Medication needs are very light.

The cats are 4 & 11 years old. The 11 year old cat does need daily medication in the form of tablets and a syringe squirt in the mouth. He's quite used to the squirt, but doesn't like it of course. There is also a cat litter to keep cleaned.

We are in the planning stage, and are flexible with dates and duration as this will be our first time using this service, and having other people look after the pets so we're obviously a bit nervous!

About the Area

Kariong Sydney, New South Wales
Suburb Insights
Kariong offers a relaxed, leafy atmosphere that serves as a quiet gateway to the Central Coast. You will likely find yourself settling into a slower rhythm here, where mornings are best spent walking through the Kanwal Botanical Gardens or exploring the winding tracks around Mount Ettalong. These shaded paths provide excellent opportunities for long strolls with a dog, allowing you to enjoy the cool canopy before the midday heat sets in. The neighbourhood feels lived-in and grounded, centered around local convenience rather than frantic activity. A quick drive brings you to the bustling markets or the nearby coastal stretches of Avoca and Terrigal, making it easy to balance house duties with day trips. Most residents rely on the frequent bus links for easy access to Wyong or Gosford, which is helpful if you need to run errands while looking after a home. Life here revolves around small gestures, like a friendly nod to a neighbour or a quiet coffee at a local strip, fostering a sense of belonging as you mind someone else's sanctuary.
