We have a three bedroom brick home on a rural block, three and a half km from the town of Maleny, Sunshine Coast hinterland. We have a friendly older dog, Mister, who appreciates a walk if possible, but not essential and an indoor cat, who has outdoor access.

There are multitudes of wild birds in the area as we feed them, and a few friendly magpies too. At this time of year, the garden would not need any attention, but the pots on the patio may need water once in that week. The town of Maleny has many coffee shops and nearby Montville is a well known tourist destination. It is approx. a half hour drive to the beach at Caloundra.
