Requirements

Hello!

We are looking for house and pet sitter to watch over our little Maltese Terrier X, four chickens and a few freshwater fish for. All are relatively easy to look after and will enjoy your company.

Kempsey, our Maltese cross will enjoy cuddling up to you on the couch and adores pats and belly rubs. She does prefer the company of adults but will tolerate young children under supervision so long as they are not too forceful. As a rescue dog, she will bark and try to run for other dogs as she is protective over her humans so keeping distance between others on walks is advised.

The chickens (and fish) will very much entertain themselves and require very little to keep them happy: food, water and more food!

In addition to caring for our beloved animals, we also ask that you watch over our outdoor gardens to keep our plants and veggie patches watered against the brutal Melbourne summer sun.

Our lovely home in Seaford is within walking/bike riding distance to Seaford Foreshore and Main Street local shops. There is a great atmosphere to the area with plenty of cafes and restaurants, playgrounds and even an ice-cream shop. If you enjoy exploring, either Carrum foreshore or down south towards Frankston also have plenty to offer. The Mornington Peninsula with beaches, scenic views and wineries is also worth a day-trip drive for those who are keen.

You’ll find all the amenities below within a short drive:

-Local and chain supermarkets and plenty of large retail stores for all your supply needs

-Bus stop at the end of the street and Seaford Railway Station located on Seaford Main Street.

-Walking trails both north and south along Kananook Creek or along the foreshore (Nepean Highway)

-Boat ramp in Frankston and kayaking opportunities near Carrum/Patterson Lakes.

-Several nature reserves such as The Pines, Edithvale-Seaford Wetlands and Sweetwater Creek

-Bayside Shopping Centre and Karingal Hub shopping centres both with cinemas. Carrum Downs Regional Centre also an option

-Two golf courses in Frankston

-Emergency and health services including Frankston Hospital, GPs, dentists, Covid screening etc.

If you'd prefer to relax at home, feel free to do so lounging by the pool or sunbaking on the luscious lawn. Enjoy the outdoor poolhouse with a game of darts or foosball or work up a sweat at the basketball ring. Inside, kick back on our large couch with a movie or pop a record on and recline with a book in front of the coonara-or more like the AC these days!

-Unlimited internet/WiFi available and streaming services upon request

-Off-street driveway parking is available with space for a boat/caravan behind the front gate.

-Separate desk spaces, should you need to work from home

-Master bedroom and guest room with two queen sized beds available

-Premises easily secured

-Appliances and white goods readily available and simple to use

Please feel free to get in contact if you are interested. We would love for you to meet our pet family, show you around our home and recommend our favourite features of the area.

Cheers
