We require someone to care for our two Staffies Peggy and Betty.

ABOUT PEGGY AND BETTY: Peggy is my daughter’s dog. She is two and a half, well trained and socialised well with all dogs and humans, children included. She is very affectionate and loves nothing better than lying on the couch beside you or on the end of the bed at night. Loves her toys, tug of war, walks and swims.

Betty is my dog and very similar to Peggy re the things she Loves in life. She is 8 years old and is very well trained, a good influence on Peggy as they spend a lot of time together. Betty is a just as well socialised as Peggy but is much more sensitive than Peggy. She is always very obedient and just wants to please whoever is taking care of her.

ABOUT THE HOME: You will be staying in my daughter’s home in Hendra an inner city suburb of Brisbane while we travel as a family to Scotland for the Christening of Anna’s baby son.

The house is a lovely old Queenslander on a big block of land - all easy care. It has a front verandah to relax on, two and a half bedrooms, one bathroom, large kitchen, family room/dining area, living room - all recently renovated. Huge park very nearby, along with many walking tracks and a choice of great cafes in the neighbourhood. Shopping centres nearby.

REQUIREMENTS: Ideally someone who is able to work from home or is just happy to come and discover Brisbane The dogs would need to be walked morning and night if possible, fed morning and night. They are happy to be left alone for short periods and entertain themselves running around the garden or just sunbaking. General maintenance needed - keeping house clean, taking out rubbish, a few pot plants need watering. Cleaner comes every two weeks.
