We are looking for an experienced, reliable person/couple to look after our aged beagle who needs to stay at home while we are on holiday. We live in a landscaped, gated development, and the house and garden are easy to care for - ten or so pots that need watering, a couple of patios that need sweeping, and a small lawn area, which needs a weekly mow (we have a lightweight electric mower). We are 3 mins walk to local shops and restaurants, walking distance to Surfers (30 mins) and 15 mins by car or bus to Broadbeach. There is a bus stop right outside our main gates and a golf course next door. Our lovely old dog has poor mobility and simply needs regular feeding, 2/3 regular but short toileting walks/day to avoid accidents, and company. She is a sociable, friendly soul, who is happy to be left alone during the day but is not used to being alone for long periods of time (over 4 hours). We have a private garden sitting/eating area and a large, shared pool, landscaped gardens, and onsite caretaker.
