We are going to Melbourne to visit our son and his wife and we are looking for a mature, dog-friendly couple or person to look after our blue heeler dog while we're away. We live on a 5 acre bush block in Humpty Doo - in a small 2 bedroom cottage with all modern facilities -all rooms are airconditioned. There is a large enclosed veranda overlooking the bush. There is also an undercover area for a caravan with private utilities and bush spa if you don't want to stay in the house. You will need your own car to get around. We live 10 minutes from the Humpty doo pub, 15 minutes to the local shopping centre, 45 minute drive to Darwin CBD and 2 1/2 hours to Kakadu. Water is reliant on a bore - which automatically fills twice a day when the plants are watered. The garden is fully reticulated. The time is approximate, so if you have your own caravan you can arrive earlier and leave later.
