We have had house-sitters before and it has been very satisfactory. Our house and garden and friendly dog need someone to live here while we are away. This is a modest 3 bedroom house in a quiet street in Canberra, close to a park, bus and tram stops, and lots of facilities like the bush, shops, pool, library, restaurants. We prefer sitters who are at home for some of the day, to keep the friendly dog company. Definitely non-smoking people. We prefer experienced house-sitters with references.
