Assignment Requirements

We have a 5 acres property in Stuart Estate which is located 10 minutes drive from Katherine NT. There's 2 dwellings, the main one is 2-bedroom house and a separate fully furnished/kitchen/bathroom guesthouse where the house sitters can live in or move to the main residence once we're away. The advantage of having a guesthouse is that they can arrive earlier and leave later than the dates mentioned - we are flexible. Stuart Estate is very safe and for a remote area you have other properties around so not completely isolated.

The main reason why we need house sitters is to look after our dog Saphy who is medium/large mixed breed dog "Darwin Special", 4 years old and very easy to look after. She can also get along with house sitters' dog(s) if they have any.

The property is nice, with manicured, yet relatively low maintenance garden, as it's fully irrigated. We have 2 ride-on lawn mowers if the grass start to grow quickly but that time of the year can be unpredictable in terms of rain.

The one thing certain is that it will be very hot and it's hard to spend a lot of time outside but all rooms have air conditioning and the comfort required to cool down. We're also building a natural pool and hoping to have a new pool installed by December. Starlink will provide fast internet access and streaming or working remote option.
