Reopening this assignment due to original housesitter now unable to travel. We have two (inside) cats and two chooks who need daily feeding/care etc while we're away. Prefer quiet person or couple as elderly cat has a heart condition and doesn't need to be stressed out. Not on medication. Scoop cat litter daily and feed morning and evening. Chooks will need a clean up every other day or so, one feed of lettuce/spinach leaves etc in the morning and top up their water and layer pellets daily as required. Keep house secure and generally tidy. Be nice to the cat from over the back fence who visits daily for pats. Lawn may need mowing once, mower available. Jindera is a lovely quiet town and close to Albury (approx 15kms). This assignment would be ideal for a retired person or couple seeking to do some travelling and experience other parts of the country. Our usual housesitter, a retired lady, is unfortunately already booked for this period.

In addition to local IGA, chemist, great bakery and other shops, there's a pub which does really nice meals - we've never had a bad meal there yet. Lots of lovely local walks to do, football ground, library, op shop, hair salon, vet, cafe, post office and more. Regionally, there are some lovely vineyards with restaurants in beautiful countryside. If you're a skier, Falls Creek ski resort is a day trip from here.
