We are looking for a reliable, pet loving person (or couple) to look after our home, our West Highland Terrier Dougal, our Lilac Burmese Juno, and three tanks of fish while we are in Brisbane for approximately 2.5 weeks this December. We can be a little flexible with dates. The house is fully renovated, comfortable, with guest bedroom and bathroom, home office, and a very large rear deck for relaxing and entertaining.

Unfortunately, we don't have a pool, but the community pool is a 5 minute stroll from our place, and, of course, it's Magnetic Island, so several beaches that are safe to swim in all year round. The island has two supermarkets within a 10 minute walk (both with bottle shops next to them), numerous high quality restaurants and cafes, three pubs, walking trails, diving, boating, fishing, and water sports available at Horseshoe Bay. The island is 70% National Park so lots to see, including Koalas in the wild.
