We need someone reliable to care for our home and 9 year old cat for the duration of our holiday. A lawn mower comes to mow the lawns, so other than taking care of the cat, collecting mail and putting bins out, there is little you need to do. The house is a small 1920’s cottage located walking distance to 2 train stations as well as bus stops nearby. The M4 freeway access is just around the corner providing easy access to all parts of greater Sydney and the city. There are lots of restaurants and cafes, the nearest are a few minutes walk away at the Bakery Quarter and on Concord Road, or a short drive away at Majors Bay Shopping Centre, Concord. There are 2 supermarkets within a short walk and larger shopping centres can be found close by at: Top Ryde, Burwood, Strathfield, Rhodes and the Homebush DFO factory outlet centre. If you like bike riding this is a great location for accessing a number of different cycle paths. In 5 minutes you can ride into Bicentennial and Olympic Parks; you can then extend the ride by continuing along the Parramatta River into Parramatta Park; you can also ride to the Cooks River and then to Marrickville and Brighton Le Sands.
